The playground by the sea - Hat Samila, Songkhla

dailymotion.com - Songkhla is only a short drive from Hat Yai. We like to stop over on our border-crossing-trips to Malaysia here and give Kim the chance to play as she pleases. The wooden ship, the oceans beach, the sunshine and the breezes - ideal environments for a 3 1/2 year old to compensate for the long train ride or just to have a fun day out. Filmed in Feb.2010, the waters didn't appear as turquoise as usual, due to rain wash-off and sediments from the night before, but it's reasonably clean here on this urban beach and the quality meets or exceeds those, as found on designated resort beaches by us before.
