Lucy The Elephant: Amazing Elephant-Shaped Building
Lucy the Elephant is located along the beach in Josephine Harron Park (named for our co-founder) in Margate, NJ. Built in 1881 by James Vincent de Paul Lafferty Jr, Lucy the Elephant was intended to attract buyers to the building lots Lafferty was offering for sale in the area. After falling into financial trouble, Lafferty sold the Elephant and other property to Anton Gertzen in 1887.

An Austrian car enthusiast Hannes Langeder Managed to build the lightest and slowest Porsche 911 in the world. The thing that makes this porsche more interesting interesting is that it doesn’t even have an engine. The body of the homemade sports car is made of plastic tubes, and the wheels are so slim they wouldn’t even fit on a bicycle.
