Fantastic Life Under X-rays
Designer Hugh Turvey has proved that flowers are as beautiful inside as they look on the outside. He created X-ray images of different flowers showing that they are captivating through and through. Hugh, 39, has been fascinated since childhood with getting underneath the surface of things. He said: "I'm driven by my curiosity. It's about discovering the world around us. As a kid I would take things apart to see what was inside and how they worked. I have an insane curiosity for how things work. X-ray gives me a way to get that insight and turn it into art"

Desirable Body Painting Masterpiece
More extreme body art can involve things such as mutilation or pushing the body to its physical limits. For example, one of Marina Abramovic’s works involved dancing until she collapsed from exhaustion, while one of Dennis Oppenheim’s better-known works saw him lying in the sunlight with a book on his chest, until his skin, excluding that covered by the book, was badly sunburned. It can even consist of the arrangement and dissection of preserved bodies in an artistic fashion, as in the case of the plastinated bodies used in the travelling Body Worlds exhibit.

Star Wars Geek Wedding
A couple's obsession with Star Wars inspired them to theme their wedding on the blockbuster films – with the groom playing Han Solo and the bride Princess Leia. This is a picture from a Star Wars themed wedding. They went all out, and every single person at the ceremony was dressed up as a character or in Star Wars fashion. The marriage was even officiated by Princess Leia herself. Which totally explains why the groom decided to rock a Mon Calamari mask -- he was ogling those boobies during the ceremony! The Light Shall Set You Free
Kevin Cooley is a contemporary photographer who lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. After receiving a B.A. in International Relations from Lewis and Clark College in 1997, Cooley went on to receive his M.F.A in photography from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Cooley’s masterfully composed photographs describe the world almost as a painting, pointing out aspects of the surreal in the real world. He achieves such effect through careful lighting, which also recalls the artificiality of movie sets—thus he creates suspense and tension in his works as if the main action will soon take place.
