MS Columbus Weltreise 2008/09

Im Verlauf unserer Weltreise nahm ich am 10. Dez. 2008 an einem Kreuzflug von Hodeida/Jemen nach Sana'a - der Maerchenstadt im Jemen teil. Sana'a die "Perle Arabiens" liegt auf 2.200 m Hoehe im jemenitischen Hochland und ist eine der aeltesten Staedte der Welt , sie soll der Legende nach von Sem, dem aeltesten Sohn Noahs gegruendet worden sein. Wir besuchten auch den Felsenpalast Dhar al Hajjar, das bekannteste Gebaeude des Jemen, dort trafen wir auf eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft, ein tolles Erlebnis. Sana'a wurde von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe der Menschheit ernannt.
