Video Penguins Swimming Underwater Video

- Take a look at some Galapagos Penguins living in this chain of volcanic islands located 563 miles west of its parent country, Ecuador.

They are the smallest of the banded penguins, and they have no subspecies.

The Galapagos penguin is the easiest to recognize because they have black feathers on most of their body, with some distinctive white marks on their face, beak, and chest.

Their largest colonies are on Isabela and Fernandina Islands.
